The Naysayers (Drea Naysayer) is a non-binary singer and songwriter on the Coax Records label. Their music blends elements of acoustic folk, alt-rock, and punk. The Naysayers are known for their visceral lyrics, shape shifting vocals, relentlessly catchy melodies and uncompromising and sincere energy. Drea Naysayer’s voice commands attention and they are recognized as an experienced performer with meteoric power, engaging, and unforgettable live shows.
The Naysayers have lived, performed and recorded extensively in the Yukon until 2023 before relocating to the prairies making their debut in Saskatoon at the Breakout West Music Conference in September 2024. The Naysayers are releasing new music in the winter of 2026. They have released 10 independent albums, won CBC Searchlight Yukon in 2014, and have toured nationally and internationally for 20 years.
