Come ride pre-marked trails at your own pace! Any breed, any tack, and riding ability welcome.
Set in the beautiful Dundurn community pasture (35 mins South of Saskatoon plus 25 mins on a lightly graveled road), Stunning sand dunes, forests and fields following 2-track trails marked with colored ribbons. Ride one day or both. With distances as short as 6 miles and mentors for each distance, it's a great ride for beginners. With 25, 50 and 75 mile rides, it's great for experienced endurance riders. This is the only time the public gets access to these trails, so come have fun at Twisted Trails. Paddocks are available for rent. Sandy trails, so your horse can go barefoot. Horse water provided, but no potable water is available.
Register for Sat, Sun, or both: whatever suits your schedule. Free overnight camping! Paddock rentals $10.
25, 50 and 75 mile rides are AERC and SLR sanctioned. 50 and 75 mile rides are also Equestrian Canada sanctioned. Shorter rides have no time limit, trail riders are welcome!
Trails are sandy 2-track through woods, across a plateau and between sand dunes. Terrain is mostly level, should be an easy trail. No matter the distance, the trails are beautiful and you'll have a great time!
Note that this ride doesn't require an SHF membership, but does require a negative Coggins test and a helmet (NEW).
