'Serenity Within the Storm' Vespers Service

We are living in difficult times. Staying aware of the suffering around us without being overwhelmed; engaging in helpful acts in spite of a sense of powerlessness; having compassion for ourselves as well as those who are facing threats to their very survival...it's a lot!

This vespers service will be a time to sit with all of these complex feelings. It's not about finding answers or creating unrealistic hope, but seeking solace, strength, and courage in community.

There will be lots of singing (led by Kathryn Green), beautiful music (Chris Lindgren on harp and Walter Hofmeister on guitar), wise words (from Liz James), and meditative movement (led by Tina Bertoncini).

We'll be running through the songs starting at 7 pm, so if you'd like to learn them ahead of time, please join us then. Everyone is welcome (including those who like listening to others more than singing themselves!).
