About Saltwater Joy:
The Saltwater Joy Band delivers a resurgence of Atlantic Coast Music favourites, Newfoundland and Irish folk and sea shanties, along with a focus on Canadian artists and long-loved old-time classics.
Based in Nova Scotia, and also located in Saskatchewan, Saltwater Joy is best known for bringing an authentic, nostalgic "kitchen party" atmosphere wherever they go. The band are beloved for covering nostalgic favourites that evoke a cultural connection and special memories of the Maritimes. Capturing the warmth of East Coast culture, the band creates a highly engaging, participative singalong experience that moves people from toe tapping to
dancing!
Saltwater Joy founders and core members Ray and Donna Lepitzki (Ray - guitar, mandolin, Donna - fiddle, accordion) lead the vocals and are in the fine company of musician friends well known in Saskatoon, Scot Thayer (bass) and Steve Dawe (guitar).
