Please join us on Friday, February 1st and Saturday, February 2nd as we celebrate the Golden Year of Legal Follies. This is a particularly special event as 2019 marks the 50th Year of Legal Follies!
The University of Saskatchewan College of Law’s 50th annual Legal Follies variety show highlights the exceptional talents of its students for the purpose of raising money for a deserving charity. Talents may include comedy, dancing, magic, singing, and other musical performances.
This year’s show is emphasizing the importance of bringing the community together, in honour of 50 years of tradition, performance, and giving back. To that end, the Friday night show will be designed specifically for alumni, faculty, friends, and family of the College of Law to express our gratitude for the 50 years of Follies that have come before us!
The proceeds from Legal Follies 50 will be going to Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City (“CLASSIC”) which provides free, professional and confidential legal services for low-income members of our community who otherwise cannot afford legal advice or representation. CLASSIC works toward social justice with low-income, marginalized Saskatchewan residents, with a commitment to Indigenous peoples, through a legal clinic that is guided by the needs of the community.
