In this special two-hour workshop led by Jael Polnac, you’ll learn practical, effective answers to that question she's often asked—and much more. Spinal health plays a key role not only in maintaining height, but also in supporting brain function, flexibility, balance, and overall wellbeing as we age.

We’ll begin with a guided discussion on how to protect and support your spine and posture over time. From there, you’ll be led through a thoughtfully designed practice including:

Gentle yin postures to support connective tissue health

Active poses to strengthen and support spinal bones

Restorative postures to nourish softer tissues and calm the nervous system

The workshop is divided into four balanced segments: discussion, yin practice, active movement, and restorative work. Throughout the session, you’ll gain a clear understanding of the purpose and benefits of each pose, so you can continue these practices with confidence.

Appropriate for all levels, this workshop is ideal for anyone interested in maintaining a healthy spine, improving posture, and moving with greater ease and comfort.

Jael has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2016. What began as a way to manage stress during her career as an environmental attorney evolved into a deeply therapeutic practice following a serious injury and rehabilitation. She has extensive training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Bone Health, and posture-focused practice, and continues to study the healing applications of yoga, mindfulness, and philosophy. Known for her calm, supportive presence, Jael creates thoughtful classes that help students build strength, improve mobility, and feel more at ease in their bodies.
