A Professor of English at East Carolina University, his poetry and essays appear in Ploughshares, Virginia Quarterly Review, TriQuarterly, Southern Review, New York Magazine, Blackbird, Poetry Northwest, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and many other journals and anthologies.
