Inkscapes: Tattoo Storytelling

Join us Thursday, February 5, at 6 pm, to share your personal tattoo story. Come prepared with an anecdote, influence, or experience associated with your tattoo and engage with others around this unique art form. Inkscapes is a program of Inked: Stigma, Otherness, and Art, an online exhibition that explores cultural otherness and bodily agency through tattooing, curated by the Tang’s 2024-25 Carole Marchand Intern Lauren Attwell ’26.

Tattoos engage identity, performance, and perception, and allow for both individuality and group belonging. At this event, we’ll delve how this important form of self-expression can transform the body into a canvas.

This event is free and open to the public.
