- **Event Description**: Join acclaimed author and storyteller Joseph Bruchac, Saratoga Springs’ former Poet Laureate, and the city’s first to hold the role, for a poetry experience rooted in the beauty of Pitney Meadows. Drawing inspiration from the fields, forests, and shifting seasons, Joseph will lead participants in discovering how place can spark powerful, personal writing.

Open to ages 12 and up, this welcoming workshop is designed for all levels, whether you’re picking up a pen for the first time or returning to a longtime practice. FREE to attend, with a suggested donation.

Week Six: Mid-summer is a time of growth… fields in full abundance, and lives in motion. In this final workshop, we’ll reflect on what it means to be in the process of becoming. Drawing parallels between the cycles of the land and our own personal journeys, we’ll explore themes of change, resilience, and possibility through thoughtful, reflective writing.

We encourage people to come to the whole six-part series to get the most enriching experience. This is not required, but suggested. Feel free to come to whichever ones you would like! Sign up via each FB event or on our website calendar www.pitneymeadows.org/events/calendar
