# Event Details

- **Event Name**: 2026 Harvest 5k at Gavin Park!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 18 Oct, 2026 at 08:00 am (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: Picture a cool, crisp October morning. The leaves are glowing with fall color. Birds are chirping as the sun begins to peek over the trees. Most of the world is still asleep.

But not you.

You're lacing up your shoes, feeling that familiar mix of excitement, nerves, and determination. The voice in your head wonders why you're doing this... and then reminds you exactly why. To challenge yourself. To grow. To prove that you're capable of more than yesterday.

This is what humans are built for! Built to move, to strive, to embrace a little discomfort in pursuit of something meaningful.

A few miles later, you'll cross the finish line. Your heart will be pounding, your legs will be tired, and you'll be wearing a smile that only comes from accomplishing something difficult. Long before many people have even started their day, you'll already have a victory under your belt.

Join us for the Annual Friends of Wilton Recreation Harvest 5K & Kids Fun Run on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Gavin Park.

Whether you're racing for a personal best, walking with family, or introducing your kids to the joy of crossing their first finish line, you'll be supporting a great cause. Every registration helps the Friends of Wilton Recreation continue enhancing parks, programs, and recreational opportunities throughout our community.

Come experience the energy of race morning, the encouragement of your neighbors, and the unforgettable feeling of earning your finish.
