Dubbed a “master of musical imagination” by NPR’s World Café Live and “astonishing” by WBUR Boston, Lorenz’s weathered, howl-flecked voice was described by Rochester City Newspaper as “a cross between Hound Dog Taylor and a Tuvan throat singer who has swallowed a bird.” Lorenz has earned snowballing acclaim for his achingly poetic dark folk. A solitary artist with an organic yet ornate vision, his seventh album To Go On is his most acutely profound yet. Created in the wake of losing his sister, singer-songwriter Kate Lorenz, it’s a tender, beautiful, and arrestingly moving record; an internal dialogue and conversation with the departed, enormously resonant to anyone whoever loved anyone. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/saranac-lake/suitcase-junket-w-gene-baritot-at-waterhole-music-lounge-saranac-lake-ny/100001993877695862 - **Event Categories**: music, art, entertainment, live-music, dog - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes - Location: Waterhole Music Lounge - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 18.91, max: 18.91, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Saranac Lake - **state**: NY - **country**: United States - **location**: Waterhole Music Lounge - **lat**: 44.3256743 - **long**: -74.1315039 - **full address**: Waterhole Music Lounge, 48 Main Street, Saranac Lake, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Suitcase Junket w.
