　2008年に写真を始めましたが、「暗い」「意味がわからない」という反応が多く、表現したいことと作品がフィットしない違和感を抱き続けていました。その後、2017年に写真を素材として（コラージュ）作品を作るようになり違和感が軽減し、それから9年が経ちました。

　本展の作品は、これまで撮影した写真を現在の状況で振り返り再構成したものです。その結果、写真を始めた頃から気になることはほとんど変わっておらず、撮った写真にほとんど変化は見られませんでした。発散的な試みを様々続け、その度に良かれと思い熟考し、結論じみた想定をしてきましたが、作品と自分にズレがあったように思います。今は、単純で正体のつかみにくい自分に触れられている気がします。
