- **Event Description**: We are delighted to invite you to the first Mass of St Mary Magdalene Community Sofia.

This new worshipping community is a joint pastoral work of the Bulgarian Old Catholic Church and the Apostolic Old Catholic Mission, rooted in the ancient Catholic sacramental tradition and shaped by reverent, beautiful, prayerful worship.

Our worship will have an Anglo-Catholic shape and spirit, which may feel familiar to Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Old Catholics, and others from historic sacramental churches. The service will be simple, dignified, and welcoming.

Named for St Mary Magdalene, faithful witness of the Resurrection, the community seeks to be a place of worship, prayer, fellowship, welcome, dignity, and grace.

Whether you are new to church, returning after time away, visiting Sofia, or simply seeking a place to pray, you would be very welcome to join us.

The Mass will be in English, and a printed service booklet will be provided.

Tea and coffee will be available, with time for conversation and fellowship after Mass.

Please arrive a little early so that we can begin prayerfully at 3:30 pm.
