Often referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic symbols of the mystical Inca Civilisation. Our retreat base camp will be in the culturally rich town of Cusco on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley, surrounded by a tropical forest were will explore this beautiful of mountains trails, explore the famous Inca Trail and of course the mystical Machu Picchu. Along the journey we will have opportunities to drop in along our travels for meditation sessions, Breathwork sessions and share circles at the end of each day. This retreat is delivered in an organised, yet layback style where the aim is to cultivate heartfelt connections and test yourself physically mentally emotionally and spiritually like never before. You will also have everything taken care of for you including your transport, accommodation and touring. RETREAT ITINERARY: DAY 1: Arrive in Cusco Cocoa Ceremony Welcome Dinner Time to rest and acclimatise. DAY 2: Cultural Day Opportunity to explore rich history and heritage of region and later explore Cusco by foot in the afternoon. Time to rest and acclimatise. DAY 3: Take an early train to Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of Machu Picchu. There will also be time for relaxing or exploring the small town. Time to rest and acclimatise. DAY 4: Morning off to rest and acclimatise. The afternoon will be spent preparing for next day for hike or train trip to Machu Picchu. DAY 5: *Option to hike to Machu Picchu or catch bus (Hike Option: 12km, moderate to challenging hike, a good level of fitness is required as hike takes about 6 hours) Visit the iconic Machu Picchu in the morning with a guided tour. Afterward, return to Aguas Calientes together via train. Time for rest and recovery in hot springs. DAY 6: Return back to Cusco. Afternoon tour to visit the Plaza de Armas, Cusco Cathedral, and the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun). Celebration Dinner that evening.
