Macramé: Plant Hanger

Create your own quintessential ’70s-inspired macramé plant hanger in this fun, hands-on workshop. You’ll learn foundational techniques while practicing the square knot and gathering knot—skills you can easily use again to make future pieces and handmade gifts. No experience is necessary, making this class perfect for beginners and craft lovers alike.

All materials are provided. Please note: the plant is not included, but you’ll take home your finished hanger with an empty pot, ready to display.

This one-day workshop takes place Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This class is for ages 16 and over. The cost of this workshop is $42 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited. The course will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available directly behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door.
