This simple yet versatile design features an expandable shape that’s both practical and stylish. Teaching artist Kathy Prekoski will guide you step by step as you learn square and gathering knots to create your bag. Discover how fun and rewarding it is to create something you can use every day.

Approximate finished bag size: 30” x 12”.

This one-day workshop takes place Friday, June 19, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This class is for ages 16 and over. The cost of this workshop is $56 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited. The course will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available directly behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door.
