Using the principles of heightened comic action while exploring relationship/character development. Their writing repertoire will expand by writing more types of sketches and beginning to learn about running order structure. Students will write individually and collaboratively - pitching ideas in a group setting, offering punch up ideas for each other’s ideas, riffing in a writer’s room setting, and co-writing material.  By the end of 201, each student will have the following deliverables:Parody SketchGroup Premise SketchCharacter Sketch (fish out of water or center/eccentric)Solo Desk PieceFake Article (The Onion, Clickhole)Satire SketchDigital SketchThree BlackoutsCourses are taught by veteran instructors who are long-time performers.
