And did you know there’s a lot more to it than just menopause, empty nesting, or a general “crisis”?In this participatory workshop, Dana will draw on studies of personal transformation, as well as personal experience, to discuss the characteristics of a midlife transformational journey (The Catalysts, The Stages, The Transformational Opportunity), where people commonly get stuck along the way, and the incredible power that can result from traveling on this messy, yet magical journey. Expect a deep dive into the inner lives of women in midlife.Dana's desire is for women to leave this workshop with a greater understanding for the complexity of midlife, so they can:Recognize the common BIG changes and questions that arise during midlife, thus normalizing their own experiencesBetter understand the transformative potential behind incredibly destabilizing midlife situationsFind community for talking about BIG midlife changes - After the Workshop, there will be an optional walk through Palisades Park, where you can continue to connect and share midlife experiences.This workshop is appropriate for women who are either already in midlife (mid-30s to mid-60s) or want to learn what to expect before they get there!
