The Circle Of Law

From May 14th to 18th, as part of Module One in the Awakening Together programme, we will gather to receive the ancient teachings of indigenous wisdom. The Circle of Law, rooted in the Sweet Medicine Sun Dance Path of the Twisted hairs tradition, guides us in defining the best laws to protect this generation and the seven generations ahead—ensuring that every role, every voice, and every position is honored in harmony with natural law.

At the center of the Circle of Law, we always keep the fire of the child burning. This fire represents our inner child, our soul, and our vision, but above all, it symbolizes the generation that comes after us—the children, both physical and those of the next seven generations. Nothing should ever be done that harms the next generation or those that follow. This means that every decision must be made in service of the new, in service of the children, ensuring that future generations do not suffer the consequences of our choices.

We are preparing with Margaretha our chants and songs for the Sweat Lodge, embracing this deep work together.
