Soil Microscopy Field Day (free event, registration required)

Join us at Synergia Ranch for a hands-on look at soil biology in action. Learn how to identify organisms under the microscope and assess soil health around newly planted giant Sacaton wind breaks — part of a WSARE-funded project exploring the natural wind protection on farms and ranches. We will cover soil sampling, compost biology, and microscopy techniques for beginners and advanced soil nerds alike. Lunch provided by Synergia Ranch’s kitchen with produce from their gardens.
