After an overwhelming response and lively discussion during the October forum, Santa Fe County is continuing the conversation! The Water: Today and Tomorrow series brings together County and City representatives to share updates, gather public input, and collaborate on shaping a sustainable water future for our region.
At the November 17 session, community members will once again have the opportunity to ask questions following each presentation—both in person and online.
💦 Discussion Topics Include:
Collaboration between Santa Fe County, the City of Santa Fe, and other regional partners
Sustainable growth and planning through the Sustainable Growth Management Plan (SGMP) and Sustainable Land Development Code (SLDC)
Water conservation, domestic well metering, and stormwater management
Rural water systems, acequia partnerships, and agricultural support
Preview of the Next Generation Water Summit 2026, co-hosted with the City of Santa Fe
