Santa Fe - All Soles Contra

This Fall we will be doing our best to fill in for the lack of Boo Camp this year. Cheap Shots is playing for two seasonal dances. In addition to the Zombie Prom on Oct 26 in ABQ at 2pm, the Nov 1 in SF at 7pm will be the "All Soles Contra"

Our state has prominent celebrations of the Day of the Dead, that touch us all. In a similar way, we are honoring and celebrating our dance community and all those dancers, callers, and musicians who have passed. You are welcome to bring photos and stories to share.

All Though it is "The All Soles Contra", feel free to dance in street clothes, or dress up and get into the spirit of the season. Either way, we look forward to seeing you! Now, what shall the band wear?

Though there is instruction for each dance, there will be a half hour of instruction from 6:30-7pm to familiarize new dancers with the moves and terms. Still, you can jump in at any time. People of all ages are welcome.
