Oh, hey, remember to carpool! We have a full house, and you may be asked to park on nearby 5th Street or San Felipe. We love our locals AND our guests. We want to ensure our weary travelers have parking.
Special Guest started crate digging at 18 in Milwaukee & found himself hanging with older DJs who played vinyl. At first, he bartered muscle for beers, carrying the other DJs' crates of records. His love for the craft grew from there. With a belly full of curiosity and an ear for house, hip-hop, soul, techno, and rare grooves, his collection grew alongside the gigs that put him on the decks in New Mexico.
DJ Eldon is a renowned New Mexico club DJ and producer who has been making waves in the music industry for over five decades. He began his musical journey at the young age of 16, founding a mobile disco in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and working as an on-air personality at KRZY AM and KRST-FM.
At 18, Eldon was recruited by the legendary DJ Frankie Crocker to work in New York radio. His DJ artistry of mixing music together developed while involved in the early NYC house scene of Area, Paradise Garage, and The Loft.
Often referred to as the godfather of New Mexico's house music scene, his contributions to the industry have not gone unnoticed. His work gained him international attention and landed him a coveted spot as a dance chart reporter for Billboard Magazine. He has traveled to all parts of the globe entertaining audiences with his unique form of house music, and his passion for music continues to inspire and influence new generations of DJs and producers.
All ages are welcome, 21+ to enjoy beverages at the bar. Tickets are not required. This event is free and open to the public however tips to the DJ's are always welcome and appreciated!
