Accomodations for all bodies and ages are joyfully made to ensure accessibility. This is a gentle practice that focuses on community care through somatic practices and traditional knowledge shares. Laura will also be offering 10 min sessions of assisted stretching and body work with the rebozo in the second half of the workshop and limited private sessions after the workshop.THE REBOZO COMO ARMA COSMICA:Participants will be able to explore prompts from the Rebozo Como Arma Cosmica Workbook, which is part of a Rebozo training cohort that they support with their comadre and Cihuapahtli (medicine woman), Irasema Mazacoatl Reza-Bailey. Their work builds on the teachings of their teacher Luz Ilhuikatzin, by adding deep and intentional healing work to support personal use of the rebozo building connection through community care.SUPPORT INDIGENOUS PEOPLE:Proceeds of this workshop will directly benefit a generative economy practice of supporting Traditional Culture Bearers and Knowlege keepers.
