💫ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Theme: Rewriting Your Dance
Over 3 nights and 4 days, this LambaZouk + Neurosculpting® retreat invites you to step into a living calligraphy studio where the page is your nervous system, the ink is your breath, and your body is the pen.
RAD sessions (Ryel's Art Dance) will teach you to “write” on the floor and with your partner—long, fluid phrases, tiny detailed strokes, and expressive pauses—so that every movement feels like a line of poetry in motion. LambaZouk has foundations in Lambada and Brazilian Zouk.
.
Neurosculpting® sessions will guide you through evidence-informed, brain-based meditation practices designed to gently rewrite old patterns, calm stress responses, and open the neural pathways that support creativity, trust, and embodied presence.
Together, these two modalities form a single practice: as you draft new movement on the dance floor, you draft new patterns in your brain. You’ll explore how to edit old stories like “I’m too stiff,” “I can’t connect,” or “I’m not creative,” and replace them with new scripts that support freedom, flow, and heartfelt connection.

💫YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
🌵18 hours of immersive content – a balanced weave of LambaZouk technique, musicality, dance calligraphy labs, and guided Neurosculpting® journeys to rewire patterns of tension, self-doubt, and disconnection.
🌵9 hours of open dance studio – curated dance time where you can “publish” your new movement stories in real time, experimenting with playfulness, nuance, and deep partner presence in a supportive space.
🌵Opportunity for private sessions with Ry'El and Lisa
🌵Time in nature – spacious breaks to walk the historic land, rest under shade trees, watch the sunset over the high desert, or journal the insights landing in your body.
🌵Integration circles
🌵Each day features three farm-to-table, chef-cooked meals crafted from Synergia’s organic orchards and vegetable gardens and other local ingredients, letting you literally nourish your nervous system from the ground up. Think warm adobe dining spaces, fresh produce grown in restored desert soil, and meals that feel like part of the practice—slow, intentional, and deeply satisfying.
🌵You’ll sleep in cozy adobe casitas and classic New Mexican bedrooms, designed for quiet rest and integration between sessions, with the option to step outside at night and look up into the wide New Mexico stars. Camping is also a great option.
🌵The best star gazing you'll find!

💫HOW IT ALL TIES TOGETHER
By the end of the retreat you will have:
🖊️Unlocked creative movement by layering dance calligraphy concepts with Neurosculpting® techniques that help your brain feel safer exploring new patterns.
🖊️Deepened connection to partners by learning to “read” and “write” subtle cues—micro-adjustments, breath, and shared timing—as if you’re co-authoring a story together.
🖊️Brought mind and body into alignment by pairing somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and intentional choreography so your dancing feels congruent with what you truly want to express.

💫ABOUT THE LAND
At Synergia Ranch, you’re not just learning to dance—you’re learning to rewrite yourself.
Set on 111 acres of high desert prairie just south of Santa Fe, Synergia is a small retreat center and organic farm, known as an oasis ringed with piñon and juniper trees, mountain views, organic gardens, and a thriving orchard that grew out of a decades-long ecological restoration project.
Traditional New Mexico adobe-style bedrooms and casitas offer cozy lodging, purpose-built movement spaces (including a beautiful wood-floored dance studio and a geodesic dome), and quiet pathways that invite you to wander between fruit trees, big skies, and spectacular sunsets.
Synergia Ranch’s history as an ecovillage dedicated to healing damaged land mirrors the retreat’s purpose: taking what has been overworked, stressed, or patterned by old conditions and patiently cultivating it into a thriving, biodiverse ecosystem—whether that’s soil or your nervous system. Come to the desert to rewrite your story in movement—one mindful stroke, one connected step, one breath-drawn line at a time.
