WITH FOREST CARTER, NOAH BAUMEISTER AND LEE STECK
Bumpin’ is a one-of-a-kind trio blending jazz, funk, and punk influences into a fresh, edgy lounge sound. The band features:
Forest Carter on drums – a Santa Fe native whose jazz studies in Portland, OR, and years as a professional musician give his playing both technical brilliance and raw power.
Noah Baumeister on electric bass – a New York University-trained jazz performer who’s made his mark on Santa Fe’s music scene, known for bridging jazz and post-punk grooves.
Lee Steck on vibraphone – a versatile percussionist with roots in jazz, Latin, and funk, bringing lush melodic textures and rhythmically rich solos.
Performing together since 2023, Bumpin’ delivers an electric live experience filled with dynamic original tunes and imaginative covers.
