Internationally acclaimed dancer 𝐑𝐲'𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 and 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐭 present a weekend workshop in Brazilian Zouk-Lambada w/ Ry'el. Join us for this dual track weekender opportunity to begin or continue your training in Brazilian Zouk Lambada at The Hut in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico.
From June 14-15th, Ry'el will provide a dual track of workshops to accommodate all levels.
The 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬 will include 3 hrs of Ry'el's 𝐀𝐁𝐂'𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐦 (fundamentals of Brazilian zouk lambada via the 3 alphabets and the transitions between them) and 4 hours of his 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐦 (Developing smooth sentences and flow between the alphabets and head movements) for a total of 7 hrs of training with the Lambazouk master. The full pass will also include our Saturday night social.
The ABC's curriculum will be geared towards all levels, including those with more proficiency, aiming to improve our foundations holistically. It is also designed for those of us who have trained a bit longer to explore a switch role- those who regularly lead can follow and vice-versa.
A 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 will be available for those who only wish to take the 𝐀𝐁𝐂'𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐦. This will include 4 hrs training with Ry'el and our Saturday night social in the price.
The 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬 is geared towards those who have taken at least 10 Brazilian Zouk classes and will explore creating smooth sentences and begin to explore head movements.

Ry’el is a performer, choreographer, instructor, and dance coach. He is also the creator of ZenZouk, a method of teaching Brazilian Zouk-Lambada and overall body movement through multiple exercises and philosophies based on the “elements," including earth, water, fire, and air- as symbols for analyzing dance and personal movement. Ry’el’s main aim is to educate and cultivate the appreciation for each one of these different styles of Brazilian Zouk-Lambada , building a strong foundation of versatility by embracing evolution through the classic techniques found in the origins of our dance (Lambada). His rich formal dance training in classical ballet, jazz, World Jazz, modern dance, international Latin, and social dances like Salsa, Bachata, cha-cha and different Brazilian Zouk styles enables him to understand, share & create flavorful and fluid organic movement in each of his works as well as in his teachings. His expressive sensuality and trained eye for technique through his Body and mind connections and philosophies makes for a unique and unforgettable class experience.
