No singing experience? No problem!
Our Vocal Jam Groups are all about play, connection, and the pure joy of making music together—no pressure, just fun.
Here’s what you can expect when you join us:
🌟 We begin with gentle grounding and vocal warm-ups that will explore using our whole vocal range through character exploration. An invitation to share your voice's story.
🎤 We’ll move into group improvisation, inspired by Bobby McFerrin's CircleSinging—co-creating an improvised soundscape
🎶 We'll also learn simple songs from the community singing tradition—music that brings us together!
This is a playful, supportive space where your voice is welcome exactly as it is. Whether you're a seasoned singer or someone who only sings in the shower, there’s a place for you here.
Who’s invited?
Everyone! All genders, all levels of musical experience. If you’re curious, come give it a try.
