From what I hear others are craving that too, yet don’t seem to motivate on their own. So I thought, what if we went together?At this gathering, I’ll share my practice from my 18 years experience as a Granicera or Weather Worker in the Nahua indigenous tradition of central Mexico and as a healer and ceremony leader in the same tradition. We’ll take time to experience and deepen our relationship with Nature to bring more balance and healing to our lives.This offering is less about ‘learning’ and more about ‘experiencing’ Nature.What we’ll do:We’ll take a short walk through the park to sit by Grandmother Ocean. (10 min)We’ll sit on the beach and I’ll share about the time-honored and traditional relationships between humans and the living world of Nature. (20min)We’ll do a simple ritual of honoring Grandmother Ocean and meditate with her. (20min)We’ll share our experiences. That divination revealed she was being called by the Weather Spirits to be a Granicera or Weather Worker in the Nahua indigenous tradition of central Mexico.Megan was initiated into this ancient living tradition as a Granicera in 2007, in Nepolpuolco, Mexico by Don David Wiley, the successor to the late Don Lucio Campos Elizalde. As part of her Granicera path, she began a rigorous apprenticeship training in 2013 to become a Traditional Healer. After going through an ancient process of building relationships with sacred medicine sites in Mexico through pilgrimage, she went through an initiatory process to become a Tepahtiani. She began offering this ancient form of spiritual healing in 2021. Megan’s been traveling to Mexico twice a year since 2007 to deepen her ritual experience and training in this time-honored tradition.Megan has been leading semi-annual community rain ceremonies in Santa Cruz since 2015 to help people re-establish a balanced relationship with the Weather Spirits and all of Nature.
