THE GREAT NORTH SPECIAL
From the psychedelic shores of Southern California comes The Great North Special, an Americana jam band that fuses together a unique blend of country-blues, psych-rock and funk-soul. Beautiful melodies and tight grooves lead the way through their mind blowing energetic dance party live shows. Their sound is eclectic and compelling with heavy rhythms, harmonized vocals & guitars, and world class keys and organ. Each performance is a soul-driven whirlwind of exploration through improvisation and crowd connection. 
The GNS live show experience takes initiates on a cosmic journey through time and space, using their carefully crafted songs and tastefully selected classic covers as the main vehicle toward ascent. With distinct musical versatility, captivating lyricism, and heartfelt songwriting, the band continues to explore in-depth themes within their songs such as love, joy, nature, technology, existentialism and spirituality. Every song displays  the spirit of the members and the community they exist within. The Great North Special is a party train rolling down the tracks to your town soon, grab your friends ALL ABOARD!

J.A.M. AND THE BUTTERED BISCUITS
Hailing from the vibrant Monterey Bay, JAM and the Buttered Biscuits serve up a delicious blend of bluesy funk rock music. Originally formed in the fall of 2024 to bring the solo works  of JAM (Jeffrey A. Meyer) to the stage, the band's recipe has been evolving ever since. The  group has added a fresh flavor to the work and new songs along the way. 

The "Biscuits" feature a formidable lineup: Leo MacDonald was among the first to join— bringing smooth, buttery bass lines—with drummer Cliff Nichols and his driving rhythmic  grooves on the pots and pans following closely behind. Fernando Giraldo sears the mix with  his fiery lead guitar work, complemented by the indispensable blues and country  seasoning provided by Brad Kava on harmonica. Nathan Dennen garnishes the sound with  soulful keys, adding a rich layer of funk and organ-driven texture to the spread. 

Delivering their signature Central Coast sound, JAM and the Buttered Biscuits are a must see act from Santa Cruz to Monterey and beyond.
