We look forward to screening Abby Martin's  this summer to take a deeper look these impacts.This year's Earth Day reading will be the first in a series of Santa Cruz United in Love events cultivating Beloved Community, shared learning, and solidarity. We hope you'll join us as we deepen our collective integrity and accountability.Our special Earth Day gathering aligns with the origins of this annual tradition. The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, emerged from 1960s grassroots activism, linking industrial pollution to public health crises, particularly in marginalized communities. It was inspired by anti-war "teach-ins" and popular protests against toxic, uncontrolled environmental degradation.Everyone is welcome. Sliding scale ticket sales ($0-50) support RCNV's vital work.
