HHSCV AND HBSCV: Elsmere Canyon Creek Trail

TRAILHEAD INFORMATION:

This is an easy hike because it is about 3-5 miles on a dirt road and the road climbs up and down about 300ft. We go about a 1 mile an hour pace and go in the road about 2 miles in and walk back out. There may be water crossings so good waterproof shoes and hiking poles are highly recommended for this hike.

TRAILHEAD DIRECTIONS

Take the Newhall Ave exit off the 14 fwy. Turn into the parking lot.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Pack your full supply of water for the day
• Pack snacks & a lunch
• As it is the cooler season, please wear warmer clothing
• Bring extra warm clothing (jacket in case it gets chilly)
• Shoes with good traction
• A light backpack to carry all your essentials
• Sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses
• Headlamp
• Positive Attitude!

If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other people who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
