About our speakers: Joan Cota began working at the Serra Gift Shop at the Old Mission when she was a teenager and will admit that is a few decades ago. She has probably seen a million visitors and a thousand friars, each one with a story. Theresa Pote first accompanied her mother Joan Cota, to the Serra Shop in a baby stroller. Eventually she also began to work there and has been at the Old Mission for a good while herself, too! Bro. Angelo Cardinalli has been with the Franciscans “forever.” After over sixty years of learning the inside story of the Franciscan family, while serving as everything from cook, retreat director, counselor, pastoral minister, and spiritual director he has a treasure trove of stories to share. ?
