Get your hands dirty by removing invasive plant species and picking up trash -- all while learning about riparian habitat and native species in Orange County!Meet: Picnic tables of Jack Fisher Park at 2501 N Flower St, Santa Ana, CA 92706Parking: Street parking is availableRestrooms: Available at Jack Fisher ParkBring: Layers for varying weather, sun protection (e.g., hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), a refillable water bottle, and work gloves (if you have them). Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy closed-toe shoes.Provided: We will have a few tools, gloves, and trash collection bags available. A water fountain is available at Jack Fisher Park to refill your reusable water bottle.Waiver: Required if you haven't completed one this calendar year. Complete the online waiver. If you are under 18 years old, you will need a parent or guardian to sign your waiver. On the day of the event, please show proof (screenshot or email confirmation) that you signed the waiver.Note on Site: We'll be exploring the creekbed during the cleanup, and the terrain there is rocky and uneven. Please check in with yourself about whether this kind of footing works for you -- we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Also, this area is gated. Please let staff know if you are unable to stay for the duration of the event.Note on Schedule: Schedule is subject to change due to weather, health, or safety.
