Seeking money to build their dream life together, they go on a whimsical cowboy quest to find it and run into some hiccups along the way.ABOUT THE AWARDUCSC undergraduate student Chris Hernandez is the 2025 Dharma Grace Creative Writing Award recipient for their script, Them Cowboys. A senior and an Environmental Studies and Theater Arts double major, Hernandez has been involved in multiple aspects of the Department of Performance, Play & Design.Established in 2005, the endowed Dharma-Grace Foundation Creative Writing Award Fund provides an award for an outstanding script written by a junior or senior undergraduate student (from any discipline) who is in good academic standing. The award is designated to provide funding for a full production of the script.
