Since 1999, our local Relay event has raised over $9 million to support American Cancer Society research, patient services, advocacy and more. More than just a fundraising walk, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life global movement brings together passionate supporters who embody the American Cancer Society’s vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Our theme is HOPE THROUGH THE DECADES as 2025 marks the 40th anniversary of Relay For Life as a national program. In 1985, Dr. Gordy Klatt set out to run and walk for 24 hours straight raising over $27,000 for his local American Cancer Society chapter. That day sparked a movement and Relay For Life was born.

Celebrate with us by coming out to shop local vendors, play our carnival games, watch live entertainment, and fight back against cancer! Dedicate a Luminaria in honor or memory of a loved one and see them illuminate the track during our beautiful Luminaria Ceremony after dark. You may even run into a friend or two on the track. This will be a Relay you truly do not want to miss!
