The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society (DDWS), the dedicated Friends of the Refuge organization, empowers the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge Complex through independent funding that advances conservation, education, research, and advocacy.

By supporting student programs, internships, land acquisition, facility enhancements, and outreach initiatives, DDWS fosters environmental stewardship and strengthens the Refuge’s ability to protect vital habitats. Through strategic partnerships with like-minded conservation organizations, our efforts extend beyond the Refuge’s borders, ensuring a lasting impact on wildlife and communities alike.
