Educational psychologist, Luby’s Manager, Business owner and Pet Nutritionist. Hands down, Pet Nutritionist has been my favorite. I also have a BBA in Personnel Management and Sociology and a MEd in Educational Psychology. For the last 20 years I have owned a holistic pet food store providing natural holistic foods, supplements and treats for dogs and cats. I specialized helping animals with nutritional problems. I have helped dogs with terminal cancer, severe licking and chewing, and auto immune disease live longer healthier lives.My wife and I have been involved in breeding and showing dogs for over 40 years. Our two breeds are Boston Terriers and Bouvier des Flandres. We began training, exhibiting and breeding Boston’s and Bouvier’s. Competing in shows all over the US and Canada, we now have over 30 over US and Canadian champions earning BIS, BISS multiple Group placements and Performance titles An odd combination, but it works for us.Throughout our journey, I began to notice that the larger breed dogs do not seem to live as long as dogs from the past and I wondered why. Thus began my 20-year study into pet nutrition and a realization that nutritional issues were killing pets because of all the additives and unnecessary items placed in their food bowls. After lots of study, education and work with Holistic Vets I became certified as a Pet Nutritionist where I am pleased to say that our pets and our customers pets are now living longer healthier lives.
