Known for their impeccable harmonies, dynamic stage presence, and versatile repertoire, the Sea Chanters perform everything from traditional choral works and rousing patriotic anthems to sea chanteys, opera, Broadway showstoppers, and contemporary favorites. Based in Washington, D.C., the Sea Chanters perform for presidents, vice presidents, members of Congress, military leaders, and international dignitaries. They also inspire audiences nationwide on their acclaimed national tours. Formed in 1956 to preserve the songs of the sea, the ensemble has grown into one of America’s most celebrated choral groups — expanding their repertoire to embrace everything from Brahms to Broadway, and bringing a spirit of excellence and pride to every performance.

The evening promises music that honors tradition, celebrates our nation, and showcases the extraordinary talent of America’s sailors. Admission to this event are free, but tickets MUST be reserved online in advance. This is a general admission event; specific seats may not be reserved. Up to 4 tickets may be reserved per transaction. Ticket holders should be seated by 6:45 p.m., and unclaimed seats will be released to non-ticket holders at 6:50 p.m.
