As development pressure in our area increases, it’s more important than ever to know what programs are available to help you keep your farm. This event is focused on empowering farm and forest landowners with tools to help protect and preserve their family farms. The workshop will have presentations from several resource professionals discussing taxes, estate planning, land leasing, conservation options, and more. There will be additional organizations represented at tables, including the NC Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Soil and Water District, Triangle Land Conservancy, and more. All of these groups will be available to answer questions, discuss their programs, and help you plan for the future of your farm!A light breakfast and full lunch are included with registration.
