We are going to complete an 6-mile loop of the central section of this trail.Bring snacks and plenty of water. Hiking poles are helpful as well!Please make sure you read the description fully and are prepared for this hike length, terrain, and weather!! :) Micro-spkies / boot traction may be necessary depending on conditions.Mileage: ~ 6 milesDifficulty: Moderate - uneven and rocky terrainTrailhead / Parking: 41.2250604,-74.7604116 Lake Ocquittunk ( near the Campground loop sites T015-T024 )Make the second right on Skellinger Road to enter the Lake Ocquittunk family camping area. Continue into the campground and stay straight past the restrooms. Once you go over the bridge in the campground, you will see the road continue to The School of Conservation, instead of going up that way look to your right to see parking by the Flatbrook bridge.DIRECTIONS:Do not rely on GPS. To Lake Ocquittunk Camping area.&gt; From Route 206 after you pass the main entrance to Stokes on your right, continue ~2 miles, then turn right onto Flatbrook Road. (You will see a sign for the YMCA)&gt; Follow Flatbrook Rd. for ~3 miles. You will turn right to stay on Flatbrook at the intersection of Hotalen Road ~1 mile in&gt; Turn on the second right onto Skellenger Road to enter Lake Ocquittunk Family Camping area&gt; Once you go over the bridge by Flatbrook, you will see parking on your right, where there is trail access for Blue Mountain Trail and Tinsley Trail.Please read the directions and details below, and if you have further questions, call (973) 948-3820. and Happy Trails!NO CALL NO SHOW &amp; CANCELLATION POLICYPre-registration only, accepted on a first-come basis.
