- **Event Description**: It's spring and the grass is green, the sky is blue, and Eleandro and I miss all of you! (And thanks to friends, we're also working hard to get our yard in shape!)

To celebrate the great outdoors, we will be hosting the next Spicy Dinner on Saturday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m. Our address is 2721 Robidoux Road in Sandy. Put the date in your calendar and start inviting your gay, bi- and trans-male friends. 

Because it's been a while since I've shared this information, I thought it would be good to provide an overview of our group as a reminder...

Spicy Dinner has been meeting the third Saturday of each month for nearly 25 years. It is the social event geared specifically for gay, bisexual and trans- men who live, work or play on Utah’s Wasatch Front. This is a private group for male-identifying individuals so please keep your invitations to members of this group. 

Spicy Dinner provides an opportunity to share good company and good food in a warm, comfortable environment. We meet at a different home each month thanks to generous men willing to volunteer their hospitality for the dinner. If you are willing to host Spicy Dinner, please let Eleandro or me know.

While we encourage positive social interaction and a myriad of relationships have in fact had their roots at Spicy Dinner, understand that we are not a hook-up group. 

Spicy Dinner always begins at 7:00 p.m. and dinner is served at 7:30 p.m. Everyone who attends brings a dish to share. It doesn't matter if it is hors d'oeuvres, a main dish, a salad, a dessert or drinks; we suggest servings for at least eight people. 

While we encourage you to prepare the dish yourself, it’s fine to bring something from a store, restaurant, or bakery. Please no chips or hard candy and if you attend, please contribute to the meal.

Thanks to the generosity of Jeff Curry and Miguel Gonzales, prizes are awarded for the best home-cooked main dish, side dish, and dessert.  

The person whose home hosts the dinner provides plates, eating utensils, glasses, napkins and ice. Please bring your own serving utensils.

We hope to see you at Spicy Dinner on June 20. It's great to have you with us and we look forward to meeting with you again.
