oin Bedfordshire hedge laying expert Paul Blissett for this 2-day course learning the traditional art of hedge laying in the South of England style, acquiring the techniques used to lay a section of hedgerow at our Sandy Smith Nature Reserve in Clophill. Paul will be assisted by GST Ranger Jamie Proud (First Aider).
The course will take place on the 8th-9th November. A back-up date of the 15th-16th if the weather is exceptionally poor.
This training session is aimed at anyone with an interest in their local environment and conservation.
- Bring a packed lunch and refreshments
- All necessary tools and other safety equipment including gloves will be provided by The Greensand Trust.
- No toilet facilities on site, but the WWC toilets are available 10 mins' drive from SSNR
- Wear suitable clothing and footwear for working outdoors with thorny material
- Course cost: £200 for the 2-days of tuition
Due to the cost of running this event no refunds can be offered, but booking may be transferable to another named person on request. Should The Greensand Trust need to cancel this event for any reason a full refund will be provided.
