The 10th annual FitCon Pro-Am Powerlifting Cup will take place on May 29-30, 2026! As the premier event in Utah, elite level lifters will compete for cash prizes and to see who will be crowned the FitCon Ultimate Champion. Entry link is at the very bottom.
This is both a tested and non-tested “Open Division” competition only, although age records may be set concurrently. Day 1 will be the Amateur competition, which requires an “Open” Class 1 qualification to enter. Day 2 will be the Pro competition, which requires an “Open” Elite qualification to enter. Although lifters must qualify at a USPA sanctioned event, anyone who has an “ Open International Elite” qualifying total or lift (by USPA standards) from a sanctioned event in any organization is automatically invited to compete. The qualification period will be from April 15, 2024 to April 15, 2026.
Due to the popularity of this event, the roster will fill fast…so do not wait to register. There is a required hard “cap” at 50 lifters each day. Initially certificates of invitation will be sent out to select international elite lifters to enter the competition. The invitations will be valid until February 15, 2026. After that timeframe reserved spots on the roster expire. Elite and International Elite lifters MUST compete in the Day 2 - Pro Cup.
On April 3rd, registration opens up for anyone on the “waitlist” for the Amateur Cup with at least a Class 4 qualification, if any spots remain on the roster. Additionally, on April 4th registration opens for anyone with an Open “master qualification” on the “waitlist” for the Pro Cup on Day 2.
Awards consist of medals for 1-3rd places in each weight class in both days. Best Lifter Medals will also be awarded according to USPA standards in the rulebook. The Pro Day will have special “meet director discretion awards” that consist of cash prizes for the winners of the most competitive contest for each of the following: Tested Women’s highest DOTS, Open Women’s highest DOTS, Tested Men’s highest DOTS, Open Men’s highest DOTS. The coveted FitCon Cup Trophy will be presented to the highest DOTS for both Men and Women.
