This event will feature Los Pleneros de la 21 (LP21) during their East Coast Tour sponsored by Mid Atlantic Arts. 

LP21 is a pioneering and Grammy-nominated Afro-Puerto Rican music and dance ensemble based in New York City, internationally recognized for its mastery and preservation of Bomba and Plena. Founded in 1983 by Juan Gutiérrez, LP21 blends tradition with innovation through vibrant performances, rigorous cultural education, and community engagement. Their work celebrates Puerto Rican heritage, uplifts Afro-diasporic rhythms, and strengthens cultural identity across generations and communities.
