Maygen and the Birdwatcher is a critically acclaimed Americana and folk band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Known for their rich harmonies, genre-blending sound, and high-energy live shows, the group draws influence from bluegrass, soul, indie rock, and vintage country. Fronted by the compelling vocals of Maygen Lacey and Noah Neumann (the "Birdwatcher"), their music offers a dynamic mix of storytelling, foot-stomping rhythms, and heartfelt ballads. The EP Bootleggin’ At The Flower Shoppe continued their success, securing the same two awards—Album of the Year and Americana Artist of the Year
They received the Entertainer of the Year award and Video of the Year for their song "Where Good Things Grow," a collaboration with the South Dakota Grasslands Coalition aimed at raising awareness about native grassland conservation.
