Dress hippie and come join in the celebration of "All-Starr" Beatles Tribute, Walrus Gumboot's 20th ANNIVERSARY as a band and the 20th Annual LENNON FEST, Sunday, Oct 12th, Columbus Day weekend!
The original Lennon Fest, which took place on Sunday, Columbus Day weekend back in 2005 was Walrus Gumboot's first show ever. Gumboot was actually originally formed for Lennon Fest, and every annual Lennon Fest since has always taken place on the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. Hence, it is officially the band's Birthday!!!
20 years with the same original lineup, which is quite a milestone achievement.
We are proud of the accomplishment and the love and joy and memories shared over 2 decades as a band.
We love you all and thank you graciously for helping make it happen!!
This event is All Ages and is taking place OUTSIDE at The Local Tavern (Formerly The Sandwich BBC, as in The British Beer Company, where it all began.)
Address: 46 Rt. 6A, Sandwich, MA @ 2pm.
Rain or shine!!! The band will be performing inside The Local if we have bad weather.
