South Africa’s first ever criterium-style running event is happening and honestly… this sounds unreal.

Think cycling crit racing but for runners. Fast, tactical, under lights and on a marked 400m rooftop course. This is NOT about who can run the fastest 5km… it’s about race craft, positioning, strategy and who has that final kick when it matters with lap racing 😮‍💨🔥

How it works:
• Enter with your 5km time to get seeded
• Elimination heats → Quarter finals → Semi finals → Final
• Men and women race separately
• Hot laps available for leaderboard attempts 👀

The vibe? Fast racing, spectators, music, lights and actual racing in front of a crowd instead of standing around for hours after finishing 😅

Whether you’re a runner, Hyrox athlete or just someone with a bit of speed and competitive energy, this could be a seriously fun evening.

Spots are limited to keep racing clean and heats tight, but spectators are free 🙌
