Tanner Laws Band is a new band out of Missoula, MT. They’re incredible fiddle and guitar solos and authentic country sound force people to make their way on the dance floor! Tanner believes storytelling is a staple of their music, and that’s portrayed in songs like “The Next Ridge” and “Bread Water.” Their sound is influenced by traditional country, red dirt, and storytelling artists like: Turnpike Troubadours, Clint Black, Cody Johnson, Chris LeDoux, and Marty Robbins. Tanner was born and raised on Montana and his songwriting is relatable and authentic. As the 2024 winner of Missoula’s Best New Band, Tanner Laws Band always leaves fans wanting more. Tanner’s generational country voice, and an incredibly talented band make them a band to watch out for as they’re on the brink of a breakout!

About Tanner Laws: Born and raised in the mountains of Western Montana, Thompson Falls to be exact, is an independent country artist named Tanner Laws. Tanner found a love for songwriting while earning a degree in Civil Engineering at Montana Tech. His love for authentic storytelling guided Tanner to be influenced by artists like Tyler Childers, Marty Robbins, Brooks & Dunn, and Turnpike Troubadours. Tanner graduated and started work as an engineer, but soon gave up the secure engineering job to chase music. His admiration for outdoorsmanship along with time spent performing at bars and rodeos has led him to be known for writing songs about fishing/hunting and honky-tonk songs you can drink & dance to.

Tanner has won awards like 2023 Northwest CMA Songwriter of the year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Favorite Local Solo Artist. He's opened for artists like Clint Black, Rodney Atkins, Sam Barber, Randall King, Braxton Keith, Dustin Lynch, Corey Kent, Colby Acuff, and Marty Stuart.
