EVERYONE HAS A STORY
You are invited to an evening of Curious Conversations. Step into an evening of connection and storytelling. The highlight of the night is our Living Books—real people you can “borrow” to hear their personal stories and life experiences in a one-on-one conversation. Be inspired, gain fresh perspectives, and insights from the stories behind the faces of our community.
Plus, engage in thoughtful dialogue with other attendees, sparked by facilitated conversation prompts when you’re not with a Living Book.
Sip a mocktail and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and desserts as you mingle in this relaxed, welcoming place for meeting new people. Meet & chat with all of the Living Books at the end of the evening.

The CURIOUS CONVERSATIONS—An East Bonner County Library District Community-Initiated Project
Curious Conversations’ vision is to strengthen our community through unique, one-on-one conversations. Our intention is to cultivate awareness of and access to our neighbors by exploring a chapter of their lives, also known as a Living Book. We accomplish this through dialogue to better understand and inspire each other, therefore learning more about ourselves and our impact on each other and our communities. This project is an opportunity for the community to come together around real-life personal stories with room for conversation and inquiry. The focus is on having honest conversations in a safe environment.
